I'd leave it as it is. As it is now, this is just a copy of the content from the handbook. If desired, we can iterate and clean up deprecated bits later on.

Could you also run igor mixer.3? You can find igor in the package repo.

Your changes to mixer.8 seem to revert recent patches. Please submit a rebased patch.

@christos You could also run mandoc -Tlint and igor to fix other issues as well.
