The man page part looks good, but I am a little bit confused, on my FreeBSD systems I see

Thanks for contributing this driver. Is possible to test it already on Hyper-V, or Azure?

I think this differential can be closed, since the HISTORY section was corrected with f394c73666ba375cbd6114950b1b1ea5943185a8.
Just one small nit, otherwise LGTM.

OK, for the man page part.
Should be fine, but since it is a src change I added @jilles for src review and approval.

OK, for the manpage side of things, but I am not sure if this is true, since the code fragment from libc doesn't point out that this option can't be disabled?

OK, I'll do it in a separate commit.
Also, could you MFC that? To 13.0 at least (I am not sure if other branches have stats(7)).
Sure. 12.2 has stats(7) too. But maybe MFC to 13 would be enough?

Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the review. I'm pretty positive of the change, but if you feel more comfortable I can bring another pair of eyes from a ports committer to validate the change, or we can ask @0mp since he is a ports committer too.
LGTM from manpages.

I would have reused this block, but ossl(4) doesn't support arm or riscv. If this doesn't matter, I could adapt the differential.
Sorry, I mean add a new block that checks for aarch64, amd64, or i386. Then, move the existing assignment to _ossl.4 to this new block.
- Consolidate the MACHINE_CPUARCH block for ossl(4) man page
