This patch introduced support for:
- ChipCommon resource managers - to manage resource assignment & allocation for sub-drivers
- Serial Flash - via SPI (for instance, mx25l)
- Parallel flash - via CFI
Minor improvements:
- parsing of capabilities
- print noprobes
- flash slicer (for Asus TRX firmware)
I wonder if it's worth printing the random seed somewhere, or even using a fixed seed. If this triggers a bug it may end up being nondeterministic (and thus difficult to debug).
