Summary

CentOS 6.x has been in ports for more than six weeks, most issues have been
fixed, so it's time to rid ports of f10 as base linux distro.

What's left to do:

Come up with a good way to document the necessary changes in UPDATING,
as well as emulators/linux_base-c6 and emulators/linux-c6 pkg-message (?)

A note in UPDATING would indeed be nice, covering that the default switched and how to switch if from f10 to c6 using portmaster/portupgrade/pkg.

Add www/linux-seamonkey/Makefile.common (via Jan Beich)

Hmm, aren't there prebuilt packages available for e.g. Firefox, in which case 'pkg install linux-firefox' would just work?

Looks good otherwise.

UPDATING
29 โ†—(On Diff #2642)

Using "should" as a conditional might be confusing for some people, simpler as "If difficulties are encountered".

44 โ†—(On Diff #2642)

This is an unsure "should". If this is really all that is needed, the "should" is not necessary. As stated, it implies that really, this is probably all that is needed, but the writer is not certain.

Also, please avoid "you" and "your" when possible. Suggested rewrite:

This is all that is needed to continue using an existing Fedora 10 Linux
base and userland.
