Summary

This is the prototype. I'd like to commit this soon as well.
I have the armv6 trigger pulling in review, but need to coordinate a few things.

Need to add buildsoft, distributesoft, installsoft to Makefile TGTS list.

Also missing is Makefile.libsoft here.
