What is a point of it?
If you have a legacy mount do you want to mount it?
What about importing the pools that are missing?

How about we split this up into two sections: one with instructions for users on UFS and the other for those on ZFS? Each would have the individual instructions (like mounting) for the filesystem specific parts and a general section (before and after) that is applicable to both (non-filesystem specific).
