In generell no objections from manpages, but the updated text has no references to be IPv6 specific. Is that intentional?
Yep, GitHub might get IPv6 eventually, but it seems that it is not their priority (2021 and still no ETA). I think we shouldn't mention that one is v6-capable, because this is something not controlled by FreeBSD and it may change during a release lifetime. Also, listing more than one mirror is good for redundancy or diversity, it avoids monoculture. (Also see: https://old.reddit.com/r/ipv6/comments/ec8i7y/github_still_doesnt_support_ipv6/fba1g2z/?context=3)
We also have https://gitlab.com/FreeBSD, I feel it might be a better idea to create a page on wiki and put the link in this manual page.
Document GitLab mirror. If the handbook (D29252) or https://wiki.freebsd.org/Git will mention the mirrors, I'll update this revision to reference either of them.
Reference the handbook section instead, so we always have up-to-date information. '#_external_mirrors' is used instead of '#git' to save reader's scrolling time.
Update date after the last change to man page.
Previously, I thought that adding Codeberg requires an OK from the mirror's author, but it was not required in imp@'s review.
Removing bapt@ from reviewers, sorry for the noise.
