I am considering also add this into UPDATING as well as in pkg-message: https://wrapper.tanukisoftware.com/doc/english/release-notes.html#3.6.0

Are you sure this does what you want? This means users will only see the message if they are upgrading from a version strictly greater than 3.5.60. Since you're upgrading the port from 3.5.60 to 3.6.3, I don't think this message will ever be displayed.

You are right. It will be one off. Let me read the Porters Handbook on this again.
