Event Timeline
It appears the translation is not complete, and it wants to patch a zh_TW.po file that I do not have yet. How complete does the PO editor say the translation is?
About 2%. But is is the most part of the previous translation. The previous translation is not complete, either. The rest part is the chapter 4 Slow Porting. I will transfer it next time.
I moved the old translation that is usable without modification or with little modification to the new translation.
I think it is better to update to the most updated version than the old version with more translation but outdated.
Agreed. The PO translation tools are set to create a translated XML file even when only a small portion of the text has been translated. We could set that to an arbitrary value like 50%, but it probably should vary with each document.
I think 50% is too high for a book. It takes a long time to translate 50% of the whole book . Maybe it is good for a article.
And the percentage is not proportional. For example, in the Chapter16 each value, each date, and each release is an string item! These short string items are about 35%( 2000 items/all 5694 string items).
The translated percentage of the updated diff is 26% now after copying some of the value and dates that is not needed to be translated.
