Summary

While I'm waiting for the bhyve update to land in git, I've come across PR 192663, which now led to this patch for updating several items surrounding disks, backup etc.

Should I just keep posting these patches on Phabricator or should I keep PR-related patches separate and in Bugzilla?

Feedback is of course very welcome - for the content as well as the process.
I suspect, one could expand on those modifications but I feel smaller changes are easier to digest for everyone.

Event Timeline

Your approach of creating something here that is easier to review and referencing it in Bugzilla makes sense. There have been some recent investigations into switching our tooling to something that incorporates bug reports and reviews in one place.

This can be completely removed since FreeBSD 9.0 was released over 12 years ago, and 9.3 went end-of-life close to a decade ago.

Removed FreeBSD <=9 documentation; this also leaked into advanced-networking, because there is a whole section on FreeBSD 9 CARP. I took the liberty to remove that as well.

Ha, very good point. I was mentally on auto-pilot it appears. There's a few other mentions of FreeBSD 9 - I'll clean those out as well. Thanks!

Newbie mistake... diffed the wrong way. Updating to diff against main the right way.

I would use "an SSH", i.e., "an ess ess aitch connection"

Thanks for the feedback!

Updated "an ssh" - for consistency I fixed this throughout the document.
