As a side note, it might be good to add the CDN we have, and perhaps switch from ftp:// to http(s):// where it's available.

I don't know how DNS is handled for the mirrors, to be honest. the se.freebsd.org. zone seem to be handled by dns5.telia.com. and zed.ludd.ltu.se. Telia is a ISP in Sweden, and ludd.ltu.se is a academic computer society at Luleå Tekniska Universitet, a uni in Luleå, in the north of Sweden. It looks like these subdomains are outsourced, so to speak.
