It now shares the implementation with sysfs_create_group() by calling sysfs_internal_create_group() which takes an update boolean.
The behaviour is not exactly the same as Linux because this implementation for linuxkpi deletes the existing sysctl tree before recreating it.
The amdgpu DRM driver started to use it in Linux 6.16.
