Are you sure that this is the only X.org module it needs? Between gtk3, webkit2, and atk I'd have expected it'd have more X.org dependencies.

Actually, gtk3, webkit2, and atk aren't supposed to induce any direct Xorg dependencies at all.
This is a "vala" project. Vala compiler linked it with Xorg for some reason.
