I don't fully agree because then we should delete the DELL ones. Example:

The Dell PERC H710P is a hardware RAID controller based on the LSI SAS2208 RAID‑on‑Chip (ROC).
This is confirmed in Dell’s own spec sheet, which states it is built on the LSI SAS2208 dual‑core RAID‑on‑Chip.
Key specs from Dell’s documentation:
- PCIe 2.0 x8 interface
- 8× SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s ports
- RAID levels 0/1/5/6/10/50/60
- 1 GB cache on the H710P model

It seems logically identical to the D3116. WDYT?
