Why adding a new one instead of upgrading the old one?

net/radvd2/pkg-plist
1 ↗(On Diff #23734)

Maybe @sample etc/radvd.conf.example etc/radvd.conf ?

Should also be svn cp radvd radvd2 then modification applied on it

Last add a PKGNAMESUFFIX=2 if you are keep radvd 1

Update net/radvd to 2.15

Original developer actually keeps two versions in parallel [1]. However the 1.x series was not updated since 2014, so maybe it is safe to assume it is not being developed and 2.x is the logical successor.
So I am now updating net/radvd to 2.15 instead of creating a new port.
