I'd use either .Dq for double-quotes, or omit them entirely:

then the complete uaddr is 192.168.1.125.22.33.

I don't think you need a .Pp immediately before an .It

I like what you're trying to do here.

Graham is correct (in my opinion, and also the linter complains). You may hopefully find it friendly and helpful to note that "tested with mantra" is not so descriptive. mantra is a great writing aid, but it doesn't take MANWIDTHs. Standard console is 80 columns and some people use narrower ones too. I like to at a minimum test in both MANWIDTH 59 and 80, as well as calling the linter with "mandoc -Tlint /path/to/page". There are also some more corner cases to be aware of like man.cgi and GNOME help. Additionally, you also may enjoy testing with alternative roff compilers, like groff and heirloom-doctools.

Wow. I forgot to submit this last year, so sorry.

Hey Jim. Why did you abandon this revision?

I understand. Sorry to hear that. Stay in touch.

Jim, may I have your permission to continue with this patch? I need to get an engineer to confirm the content, it's above my skill level. In this case I would make sure the content and macros is correct from a technical standpoint, and claim coauthorship with you as the primary author if I have to change it a bit.

Hi Alex,

Permission granted! You can claim authorship if you want.

Cheers,
Jim B.
