This is a little misleading.... The default is 9600 still. This is about the boot loader.... at least the boot0.sio boot loader, which is talked about below. For that boot loader the default I Think is actually '0' which means 'don't change anything.' which allows faster speed to be whatever the BIOS' default is... But for comconsole, it is correct.
