Some (but not all) of the patch changes are no-ops. Line numbers have changed in the target files, so I left them. Let me know if you think that's not a good idea.

Updating line numbers is a good thing, IMO.

12.1-amd64 and 11.3-i386 pass poudriere testport. Simple 12.1-amd64 run-time tests so far haven't shown any obvious problems. @rene when I hear from you about CURRENT, I can commit.
