A suggestion on grouping related things together. I like the overall format for the example template.

17 ↗	(On Diff #48484)	I'd put the "If you don't know Markdown, just write it as if it was plain text." after the "Use markdown syntax..." sentence, to connect the two better. You can also use a separate paragraph for all things regarding Markdown.

Reshuffle the information a bit, so that the syntax description
is in a separate paragraph.
