FYI: This item holds jbeich@ from updating boost. It contains the patch that the RStudio's upstream specifically done to fix for boost 1.66, and merged into 1.1.X series on my request.
This has been done with the understanding that jbeich@ needs this checked off the list of items in the way of the boost update.
