release: update to use git instead of svn:

Makefile.* (cloudware):

• Consistify setting the BUILDDATE for snapshots.

release.conf.sample/release.sh:

• Run 'git clone' in 'quiet' mode.

Makefile.inc1:

• Set BUILDDATE and export the variable.
