- This version deals with a technical problem (reported by Don van den Bergh), implementing a solution suggested by Brian Ripley: Rather than importing utils::askYesNo(), which is unavailable before R 3.5.0, a local unexported copy is supplied in the car package, to be removed after version 3.0-2.
