All issues that I am aware of are now resolved. This is ready for review.

A note about a DOCS option. I chose to leave it out, since building the documentation requires pulling in SBCL and a full TeX installation. We could install the .texinfo file and leave it to the user to compile it.

Re-add the DOCS option. The large dependencies required to build the docs are only build dependencies.
