Note that -Y is not quite identical to -L, but I think this is OK.

I suspect that @peter may be the only person with specific knowledge of this (added in rS137288).

Discussed in person at BSDCan. -Y might have been necessary with the -m32 support in the early amd64 toolchain but is no longer necessary.
