rubygem-manpages, when installed on the build host, hooks gem
post_install and symlinks share/man at the staged gem path.
compress-man keeps that target absolute. With DEVELOPER=yes, stage-qa
rejects a symlink whose target begins with the stage directory. The
same link would dangle once the package is installed. The page stays
in the gem directory, which is what these ports already ship. A
poudriere jail does not have the plugin, so bulk builds are
unaffected.
Ports that leave the link in place:
- deskutils/rubygem-taskjuggler
- devel/rubygem-ditz
- devel/rubygem-foreman
- devel/rubygem-mustache
- graphics/rubygem-ruby-graphviz
- net-mgmt/rubygem-visage-app
- security/rubygem-haiti-hash
- sysutils/rubygem-guard
- textproc/rubygem-asciidoctor
- textproc/rubygem-kramdown
- textproc/rubygem-kramdown-gitlab
- textproc/rubygem-rdiscount
- textproc/rubygem-ronn
- www/rubygem-bluecloth
- www/rubygem-passenger
- www/rubygem-unicorn
devel/rubygem-irb, devel/rubygem-irb-gitlab, devel/rubygem-rdoc,
devel/rubygem-rdoc-gitlab, and games/rubygem-lolcat install a real
page over the plugin link and already pass stage-qa.
