Bring dma.conf whitespace handling into line with UNIX idioms.
If /etc/dma/dma.conf contains tabs, or multiple spaces, parsing is
utterly broken. For example, multiple spaces to align columns lead
to prepended whitespace in the PATH:
can not open auth file ` /etc/dma/auth.conf': No such file or directory
These sort of errors are very annoying to track down.
