I'm not 100% on the actual use of the -R flag. It doesn't seem to be documented, but this is my supposition. Please confirm.

So this is likely something we should rip out instead of document. The apm_set_timer calls APM with specific i386 registers. We should burn it and bioscall_available is false always, and we should 'unifdef' that :)

Yea, please don't commit this. I'm tearing down all the old 'apm' stuff that's specific to APM BIOS and it will be gone after I'm done.
