You can specify an origin when installing packages. Also, I did not see drm-612 in the repos during RC1, was this fixed?

Also for release notes, I would flip this statement so the juicy bit that has the lowest bar to understand is in the front:

GPU drivers from Linux 6.12 LTS are now available via the package:graphics/drm-612-kmod[] port.

The port was added on 2026-05-22, perhaps too late for RC1? I see it available as a package for 16-CURRENT.

Yeah, I don't see it for 15.1 either [0]. Since it isn't available in the repos we should probably leave it out of the relnote :(
