I believe this is fine, for the formal process, maybe it's nice to add this on behalf of srcmgr.

Eh, I don't think srcmgr@ formally approves of compiler upgrades anymore than they formally approve of each LLVM version import by dim@. The GCC bits I mostly just do on my own.
