@duchateau.olivier_gmail.com please state explicitly in your report that you are not part of the gnome@ or desktop@ team. The impression I have reading it is the opposite. I believe you should change the following:

• the title: I suggest Improvement on some GNOME ports;
• add an explicit statement that you are not part of the gnome@ team;
• do not use we if, as I believe, you are working alone: use I instead.

BTW, I prefer the name "Pau Amma". It's a single name in 2 words, not a first name+last name pair.
