Un-break build in the presence of print/texinfo

Details:

• If print/texinfo is installed, the build process detects and uses it to rebuild the info pages. This fails because of some syntax errors, previously only flagged as warnings.
• There is currently no configure switch to change this behaviour, hence the texi files are patched to pass the texinfo run.
