Since we are here, the old sentence that starts with "To do this" needs work.
"To do this" adds nothing but filler (and a halting pause) and can be removed.
"Simply" is a word to be avoided because it can sound patronizing.
"Should" is also something to avoid, although it was used correctly here, as a recommendation.
How about (ignoring wrap):
