  • a triple-click within the paragraph that begins at line 20 (twenty) fails, seems to fall short of selecting the paragraph in its entirety
  • Shift-right to extend the selection by one character (to include the invisible character that ends the paragraph)
  • Shift-click at the tail of line 22
  • Shift down
  • click New Inline Comment

Whilst I don't plan to investigate the cause of the earlier problem that was pictured at https://reviews.freebsd.org/file/data/koyy6l3tyzvm3a4xjg3s/PHID-FILE-ufsoljz7vz4oxifitjbb/image.png (a comment lower than intended), the bug pictured below is enough for me to realise that selection behaviours can be peculiar in Phabricator.

It seems that the triple-click in the midst of line 20 was misinterpreted by Phabricator as extension of the selection to include the preceding line (19):
