@duchateau.olivier_gmail.com please state explicitly in your report that you are not part of the gnome@ or desktop@ team. The impression I have reading it is the opposite. I believe you should change the following:

the title: I suggest Improvement on some GNOME ports;
add an explicit statement that you are not part of the gnome@ team;
do not use we if, as I believe, you are working alone: use I instead.
