According to upstream [diff](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/compare/1.29.1...stable) it carries some stability fixes (worth for MFH to 2018Q4). Also, libgit2-sys [no longer](https://github.com/alexcrichton/git2-rs/commit/76f4b74aef2b) uses cmake to build.
