Hi,
This is a port for Lua 5.4.0 work1. The port doesn't build the shared file for some reason so the install fails, but the lua54 executable works.
I've turned on the very controversial LUA_NILINTABLE option.To test the "very controversial" option to allow nils in tables, uncomment the LUA_NILINTABLE variable.
With LUA_NILINTABLE on, nil is now valid as a table value:
Lua 5.4.0 (work1) Copyright (C) 1994-2018 Lua.org, PUC-Rio
> t={"one","two",nil,"three"}
> for i,v in pairs(t) do print(i,v) end
1 one
2 two
3 nil
4 three
>
Any input on why the so isn't working would be great.
