GLib upstream has CI configured to run tests on FreeBSD regularly, but it isn't going to help testing this change because it only runs on releases. It currently runs 11.3 and 12.0 jails on 12.0 kernel.
GNOME releases are made in March and September. It is usually better to make an important change at the beginning of a release cycle, so it can be tested by more people for longer.
