Do you have an ETA? If you still need to look for the new patches and get them to apply, I'd rather move along with this one to help us move quicker to Qt 5.10 -- as I see it, the tree is already broken with LibreSSL and you'd need to refresh the patches for 5.10 anyway.

Looks fine to me; most of the changes are just renames. The PORTREVISION bumps look OK, and so do the changes to the category Makefiles.

I think I had some threading issues here when trying to build CMake from git a while ago too. Do you have the exact error message at hand so we could investigate? A quick build of 3.11.0-rc1 on Fedora shows me something like this:
