USES=7z:p7zip should be converted (and renamed) to archivers/7-zip or USES=7z needs to be dropped entirely (define EXTRACT_SUFX=.7z if DISTFILES isn't explicitly overriden). I've dropped the only USES=7z:partial consumer in 69f4ebaff6a3.

So you mean using archivers/7-zip (which I didn' t realize existed) instead of archivers/p7zip in USES=7z and consuming ports? That should be the least damaging way out if I understand correctly?

There is ongoing work to replace archivers/p7zip with archivers/7-zip, see https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=260866
