Summary

kbfsd is a service daemon to launch the Keybase filesystem called KBFS.

Its aim is to ease the process of using KBFS on FreeBSD. It takes care of
the configuration the Keybase user would have to do manually otherwise.

I've chosen the security category because this is where the other two Keybase ports live (security/kbfs, security/keybase).

Test Plan
  • portlint: OK
  • poudriere testport: 11.2 i386 OK
  • I've been running this script for some time now without any issues. There are other users who report that the daemon works as intended.

I am not sure about this line.

I find it useful and informative to other ports committers. This way they do not need to check if LICENSE_FILE should be set or not.

I don't know, because it is only true for this version, so maybe change it to There is no license file in version 1.1.0.

  • Improve the comment about the lack of the license file.
  • Bump version to v1.2.0.
