Have we confirmed that rollback to 13.2 does not work? 14.x -> 13.x doesn't work because of the file/directory problem, which I guess will apply to 13.3 -> 13.2 as well because it also has the new Clang now.

216–217

Typo? I believe this is 7d781b891eeda938630ef26b29690c56b05e3983, and I don't see any BE200 reference.

I haven't tried it; I assumed the warning was newly added. I can try it tomorrow.

216–217

No, Bjoern said today that Intel just renamed the chip. I had assumed there were multiple commits, so didn't look for a hash.

I just tried it; it worked. There were messages about deleting the conflicting directories. 12.4 should work then too, right? I'm setting up to test it just in case. We should remove the warning from the installation doc too.

It's probably worth mentioning that gVNIC is now supported.

(For 14.0, this belongs to "Cloud Support":

[[cloud]]
== Cloud Support

not sure if we should do the same or add it as virtualization support.

Proposed text:

The Google Virtual NIC (man:gve[4]) is now supported.

12.4 works as well. I'll remove the warning.

309–311

Thanks, I'll re-add virtualization support with this item.

Remove rollback warning, it is incorrect for 13.3. Add gve,
re-adding virtualization section.
